I watched Judas and the Black Messiah the same year I read Assata Shakur's biography and listened to Huey P. Newton's speeches and essays.
It reaffirmed to me that these amazing people were ultimately just human beings.. albeit strong-willed human beings compelled by necessity to try and change the world.
