Just completed my first of potentially many lifelong surgeries.

I had a Fulkerson Osteotomy today. Essentially they cut out a part of my tibia to realign it, securing it with screws.

I have been fighting with this knee since I was 12 years old, and it was actually the first indicator of my Ankylosing Spondylitis and Fibromyalgia.

Hopefully this surgery will lower the overall pain I experience in this knee. A small step in controlling my chronic pain, but a major victory for me.
