So grateful to those who have checked on us after Friday&
#039;s tornado. My little and I were on Hwy 64 leaving Forest Park when the tornado started. As the hail started to pour we pulled under an overpass along the shoulder. A bus next to us shielded us from flying debris. We were very lucky.
We’d been playing near the World’s Fair Pavilion for hours, leaving only minutes prior to the storm.
I’m sharing a screenshot of a TikToker who caught a picture of the tornado very near to the area I was on the highway.
After I watermark my video, I’ll even share the video of the very last bit of the tornado passing in front of me. (30 seconds sooner would have made for a much better video)
It all happened so fast that I genuinely did not process what was going on.
