As I am embark in my new health journey, I was recently diagnosed with "scleroderma vasculitis and mialcitis”, which is a rare auto immune overlapping disease.
I promised myself I will stay strong and fight as hard as I can to learn and grow.
They say it’s incurable … but let me tell you what. I have a tattoo that says “ fighting against all odds” on my ribs. Because when I was diagnosed with stage 3A cervical cancer in 2018, I had the same medical talk, making me feel helpless.
And guess what? I fought my cancer on my damn own. And I won it. Still cancer free to this day.
So I will be fighting against all odds on this one too, and I’m not one to give up.
I’ll be sharing my health journey with y’all and as I learn along the way.
And to anyone battling any health issues or autoimmune disease, I want you to know you do have the power within. You have control of it. It doesn’t have control of you.
So here’s to all those who feel alone and scared, you don’t have to be.
Trust in God and trust in yourself. Do the research. Focus on your health. Focus on your mindset. And give it 100%. Life is beautiful and don’t let the darkness bring you down.
